11mm 2026 opens with “A Summer in Italy – World Cup 1990”

The wait is over: the international soccer film festival 11mm, still the largest festival of its kind in the world, is entering its 21st round. From March 26 to 30, 2026, the Colosseum Filmtheater in Prenzlauer Berg will once again be transformed into a meeting place for football and film fans. More than 40 feature-length and short films from 18 countries are on the program and once again show how versatile the fascination of football can be told on the big screen.

The international football film festival 11mm, the world’s first and largest festival of its kind, is dedicating its 21st edition from March 26 to 30, 2026 to a special focus: football in feature films. In addition to current national and international productions, the festival will focus on a genre that has long been underestimated.
