On July 2, 1994, Colombian international Andrés Escobar is murdered in Medellín. Six shots in the night. The trigger was his own goal in the World Cup against the USA, after which Colombia was eliminated early. In the radio play “La vida no termina aquí”, Escobar looks back from the realm of the dead and talks about guilt, the pressure of expectation and the violence that overshadowed Colombia’s World Cup appearance at the time.
