Une belle équipe

In the tranquil village of Clourrière in northern France, the soccer team is suspended for the last three games of the season after the umpteenth brawl on the pitch. To save the club, the coach’s daughter unceremoniously creates a women’s team. It quickly becomes clear that the female soccer players have more talent than their husbands with relatively little training. Off the field, too, the changes in the team stir up a lot of dust, bring a breath of fresh air to traditional ways of thinking and acting and turn UNE BELLE EQUIPE into a hopeful, feminist comedy.
